Sherlock Holmes, A Christmas Carol, Alice In
Wonderland, Dracula, Legend of Sleepy Hollow,
la Belle Epoque, Art Nouveau, corsets, bustle gowns, top hats,
walking sticks, "steampunk", Oscar Wilde, Toulouse-Lautrec,
the Moulin Rouge, and H.G. Wells. Useful for the re-enactor,
historian, costumer, merchant, artist, writer/reader of Gothic
fiction, antique collector, musician, or anyone at all with
a passion for the macabre, ornate, decadent, mysterious, and
anachronistic. Webmasters are welcome to submit their site (or
blog, online store, forum, annual event, etc.) if it has a dark,
nostalgic feel.
