Returns

Offered on all items except Final Sale. Returns must be received within 60 days of purchase. Shipping costs are non-refundable. By buying our products you are agreeing to be bound by these terms.

How To Return: Email us with your order# and name, then ship with a copy of the receipt (if item arrived damaged enclose all original packing material) to the return address on the parcel, using a service that ensures arrival within 60 days of purchase. Send with insurance and tracking included! We are not responsible for returns lost in transit. If the original parcel is undamaged, you can remove our label from the plastic pouch and re-use it.

FINAL SALE

"Made-To-Order" items, "Special Order" items, Customized items, fabric chokers, fabric bracelets, hats, masks, thigh-high stockings, pantyhose, garters, gloves, and watches are Final Sale.

Some fabric products are considered "intimate apparel" and non-returnable due to federal health regulations. They come in intimate contact with skin and hair and can absorb sweat, bacteria, parasites, cosmetics, perfume/odors, and allergens. Our watches are purchased as samples from the manufacturer so we can offer you a lower price. Warranties are not offered on samples so watches cannot be returned.

An exception can be made with hosiery items and gloves, since they are machine-made and shipped in factory sealed packages. If the package has not been opened we can accept a return. The handmade fabric items we sell are not factory sealed and so cannot be returned and resold. We have this policy because there is no other way to assure customers that they will not be buying something that has already been worn.

Refunds

Issued via PayPal ONLY within 60 days of purchase to the email address used during the original payment. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Refunds may take up to 7 days to process and are credited as follows:

  • Credit Card: returned to your card (may take several days to appear on statement)
  • PayPal Account Balance: returned to your PayPal account
  • Bank Transfer/Debit: returned to your bank (may take several days to appear on statement)
  • All Other Sources: held for 30 days at PayPal, see details below

If you do not have a PayPal account you must register at PayPal with the email address used during the original payment to claim your refund within 30 days of issue (registration is free). You can then transfer funds to your bank account or keep the balance at PayPal for future use. Refunds unclaimed after 30 days are automatically cancelled.

Refunds After 60 Days: Can only be issued if the Post was responsible for delaying the return shipment (proof/tracking required). Funds cannot be reversed to the original source after 60 days, so refunds must be claimed directly from PayPal (see paragraph above). PayPal may charge you a processing fee of approx. 2% (varies by currency) for this service which is beyond our control.

 

Gift Return
If you received a returnable item as a gift you may return it under the same conditions described in the above sections, however refunds can only be issued to the person who originally paid for the order. Sorry, no exchanges.

 

Return-To-Sender ("RTS") Shipment
If we ship your order and it is returned to us by the Post due to no error on our part, we must bill you for the RTS shipping cost (the post charges the full rate to send it back to us) as well as the cost to ship it out again if you want it re-sent. We can cancel your order if you do not want it re-sent, however SHIPPING COSTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. The RTS cost will be deducted from the order value and we will refund the difference.

 

Lost Order Shipment
In the unlikely event that the Post loses your order on its way to you, we can open an insurance claim with them approx. 45 days from the shipment date (or less, depending on the service) and will issue a refund within 7 more days.

 

Lost Return Shipment
We cannot issue refunds for returns we do not receive. Therefore it is in your best interests to ship your return with insurance and tracking included - then if it should it get lost you can open an inurance claim with the carrier for reimbursement. Otherwise you ship your return at your own risk.

Repairs, Exchanges & Alterations

Damaged or Defective Item: Contact us immediately and post the item for return within 30 days of purchase for free repairs, refund, or (when available) replacement. Repaired items will be returned to you at our expense. However, if the return is posted after 30 days we reserve the right to charge for repairs and/or return shipping.

Alterations: You may have ordered the correct size originally, but experienced weight loss/gain several months later. Contact us for a quote on alterations to hand-crafted items. Charges for adding components (beads, chain, hat foam, etc.) and labour costs may apply, as well as shipping charges to return the item to you.

Exchange: We do not do exchanges. If the item is not a Final Sale item and you wish to return it for something more satisfactory, follow instructions for a regular return/refund.

 

A Note About Vintage Components
The very nature of these components is that they are old (we define "vintage" as more than 25 years old) and were often made by hand rather than by precision machines. Many antique components have tiny imperfections due to the manufacturing process or age (bubbles or warps in the glass, hairline marks, slightly asymmetrical, etc.). Such imperfections are completely normal, merely adding to the item's unique charm. But if you are unhappy with the quality of the item and it has not yet been worn, you can return it. However be aware that a replacement vintage part may not be available anymore, and that even when one is it may not be 100% perfect either.
