Returns

Offered on all items except FINAL SALE items. Notify us immediately with the order# and your full name, then post it back to us within 30 days of purchase with a copy of your receipt - you MUST use a service which includes insurance. If items were damaged in transit, include all original packing materials. Refunds and exchanges not issued until we receive your return (we are not responsible for lost returns so insure your parcel! Should something happen to it on its way to us you can get a refund from your postal service). Shipping costs are non-refundable.

FINAL SALE

"Made-To-Order" items, "Special Order" items, Customized items, fabric chokers, fabric bracelets/cuffs, hats, thigh-high stockings, pantyhose, garters, gloves, and watches are all non-returnable.

Some fabric products are considered "intimate apparel" and non-returnable due to federal health regulations. They come in intimate contact with skin and hair and can absorb bacteria, parasites, cosmetics, perfume, and allergens. Our watches are purchased as samples from the manufacturer so we can offer you a lower price. Warranties are not offered on samples so watches cannot be returned.

Refunds

Refunds are issued via PayPal ONLY (to the email address used during the original payment), including credit card payments and all other payment methods. Refunds are credited as follows if your return is received within 60 days* from date of purchase:

  • Credit card: funds will be credited to your card (may take a few days to appear on statement)
  • PayPal account balance: funds will be returned to your PayPal account balance
  • Bank transfer/debit: funds will be credited to your PayPal account balance
  • Other sources: (money orders, cash pick-up, HyperWallet, etc.) funds will be credited to your PayPal account balance

*If you do not have a PayPal account, did not pay by credit card, and/or if we received your return after 60 days from date of purchase, you must register at PayPal to claim your refund (registration is free). You can then transfer funds to your bank account or keep the balance at PayPal for future use. Refunds that remain unclaimed for more than 30 days are automatically cancelled. Return-To-Sender ("RTS") Shipment
If your parcel is returned-to-sender (RTS) due to no error on our part, in order to re-ship we must bill you for the RTS shipping cost as well as the cost to ship it out again (unfortunately Canada Post charges to send it back to us). We can cancel your order for you if you prefer us not to re-send it, however ALL SHIPPING COSTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE and the return shipping cost will be deducted from the order value (total before shipping and tax) - you will be refunded the balance, if any. Always double-check your shipping address before you confirm your order to avoid potential mishaps!

Repairs, Exchanges & Alterations

Damaged or Defective Item: Contact us immediately and post the item for return within 30 days of purchase for free repairs, refund, or (when available) replacement/exchange. Repaired items will be returned to you at our expense. If posted after 30 days we reserve the right to charge for repairs and/or return shipping.

Alterations: You may have ordered the correct size originally, but experienced weight loss/gain several months later. Contact us for a quote on alterations to hand-crafted items. Charges for adding components (beads, chain, hat foam, etc.) and labour costs may apply, as well as shipping charges to return the item to you.

 

A Note About Vintage Components
The very nature of these components is that they are old (we define "vintage" as more than 25 years old) and were often made by hand rather than by precision machines. Many antique components have tiny imperfections due to the manufacturing process or age (bubbles or warps in the glass, hairline marks, slightly asymmetrical, etc.). Such imperfections are completely normal, merely adding to the item's unique charm. But if you are unhappy with the quality of the item and it has not yet been worn, you can return it. However be aware that a replacement vintage part may not be available anymore, and that even when one is it may not be 100% perfect either.
