Limited edition of 12. A solid wood box painted glossy black, with an elaborate 4 1/4 inch (10.5cm) wide antiqued oxidized sliver-plated brass stamping of the Greek god of love, Eros. Surrounding him are 4 ornate corner stampings and 2 long accent stampings at the sides, all attached with durable waterproof industrial adhesive. The inside is lined with rich red felt and features an oval mirror edged in black braided cord. A silvertone latch closes the top beneath a fancy silvetone hinged metal handle dangling a white silky tassel. The hinges on the bottom are wrought iron effect matte black brass, and 4 antiqued pewter feet on the bottom keep the box slightly elevated. Varnished on the outside to waterproof the surface.
