One of a kind. A solid wood oval-shaped box painted satin black, embellished with 15 clear Swarovski® crystal rhinestones and 20 ornate antiqued oxidized silver-plated decorative stampings attached with durable industrial adhesive. The focal piece on the top is an elaborate 4 1/4 inch (10.5cm) wide ornament depicting the Greek god of love, Eros. The inside is partially lined with rich black felt, with an oval mirror on the underside of the lid. A shiny silvertone latch closes the front, and the hinges at the back are wrought iron effect matte black brass. Four antiqued pewter feet on the bottom keep the box slightly elevated. Completely varnished inside and out to waterproof the finish, and signed discreetly on the inside with Valerian's signature.
